Hi Idun, so tell us about your work...

I work in oil on canvas or board. I am known for my abstract and semi-abstract work.

What inspires your work?

I create series of work from memories, using a certain palette. This summer, I have painted a small series of brightly coloured abstracts.

We hear you've been shortlisted for a few awards this year... congratulations!

Yes, I have been shortlisted for the NEAC with two paintings and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters with another painting.
